Position Overview

The Shipping Administration role is responsible for coordinating and executing all shipping-related tasks, managing customer portals, printing and administering labels, and organizing transportation logistics (including domestic, international, NPI, and sample shipments). This position ensures that shipments are processed accurately, on time, and with high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process shipments for pickup and delivery.

Verify order details and shipping instructions.

Upload shipping information to customer portals.

Maintain portal accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Print, administer, and organize shipping labels.

Ensure correct labeling according to customer and regulatory requirements.

Book trucks for outbound shipments.

Schedule driver pickups and coordinate distribution routes.

Communicate with carriers and drivers to ensure timely pickup/delivery.

Prepare shipping documentation (BOL, packing lists, etc.).

Ensure compliance with relevant shipping regulations.

Liaise with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams.

Provide shipment updates and resolve issues promptly.

Process and coordinate international orders, including export documentation and customs requirements.

Prepare, book, and track FedEx and UPS shipments.

Print and administer FedEx/UPS labels and resolve issues with carrier customer service.

Coordinate and process NPI (New Product Introduction) shipments, working with engineering/production teams to meet timelines and special requirements.

Prepare, label, and book shipments for customer samples, track and confirm delivery, and update stakeholders.


Qualifications & Skills

Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.

Proficient with shipping/customer portals & label printers.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Manager will oversee the overall order fulfilment process, mainly consisting of the Inbound, Outbound and Customer Service. 

He/She will report to the Site Manager. He/She will promote a culture of operational excellence focused on health and safety, quality, productivity, and delivery. The position will supervise the forecast and budget for the division and the report of the results to corporate. The position manages relationships between customer and Managing Director.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the overall direction of all manufacturing and customer service functions.
  • Responsible for managing plant costs within company budgets.
  • Maintain plant policies and procedures.
  • Directs and co-ordinates material management, production operations and process improvement on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage systems and procedures for operational cost and usage controls.
  • Works closely with sales and customers to facilitate technical information interface.

  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers, as well as evaluate their findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Keep current on information and technology affecting functional areas to increase innovation and ensure compliance.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • 15+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a   process-oriented operation and/or related industry
  • Experience developing and implementing a QMS as well participating in or leading ISO audits

As Warehouse Systems Analyst, you will serve as the Point of Contact (POC) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Warehouse Management IT solutions. You will be responsible for aligning system requirements with business needs, supporting and improving WMS functionality, and ensuring smooth implementation, integration, and ongoing support of warehouse systems. As Quality Engineer you are the first point of contact for quality topics across the packaging supply chain, internally (Operations, Engineering, Planning and Sales) and externally (customers and suppliers). You ensure that packaging products consistently meet specifications and standards, and you turn issues into improvements. 

You will contribute to:

  • Be on-site on the shop floor and in the warehouse to solve quality issues where they arise (hands-on troubleshooting).
  • Support customers and internal stakeholders with non-conformities, claims and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA, 8D).
  • Coordinate with the Quality Inspection team to verify products against customer specifications; guide day-to-day inspection priorities.
  • Run packaging quality analyses and product evaluations; use data to identify trends (e.g., Pareto) and risk (FMEA).
  • Lead root-cause investigations (5 Whys, Ishikawa) and translate findings into robust actions with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects, waste and rework (Lean/5S mindset).
  • Maintain compliant documentation and accurate quality records; support internal audits and procedure optimization.
  • Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 programs and related H&S practices in collaboration with QHSE.

JOB SUMMARY

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Make incoming inspections and keep records (raw material or finished goods)
  • Create new quality and QSS documents
  • Approve new items or new product introductions and perform the FAI
  • Make the discrepant material report for manufactured or traded products in NICS, send rejection report to purchasing department in case of discrepancies on traded products, identify nonconforming products
  • Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Verify inspections completed by fellow production personnel.
  • Provide training: acceptance/rejection criteria, released of first production pieces, in process and final inspections, measurement instruments, divulgate quality alerts, “on hold” area, or any other assigned.
  • Support the management of customer complaints (Ex: coordinate segregations of product, if necessary, make quality alerts and provide training) and SCARs (supplier corrective action request).
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Policies and Procedures.
  • Other duties as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of production through the plant and operation of the production shift, ensuring the effective and efficient deployment of resources including material and manpower, to meet production and customer requirements in accordance with applicable policies and in the most economical and safe manner suitable to the operation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience working with steel, wood, corrugate, foam and/or other traded material considered an asset
  • Experience employing and enforcing the Occupational Health and Safety Act

LANGUAGES

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

JOB SUMMARY

Ensure that Nefab products meet customer requirements established in the drawings and acceptance and rejection criteria, in the different buildings within the Division.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide training about: introduction to Q&EMS, SFI, NICS, DOT.
  2. Solve customer complaints on time, coordinating containment actions (quality alert, sorting material, RMA) and the root cause and corrective/preventive actions.
  3. Make follow up to 8DNCRs, 8DComplaints, 8DSCARs, Product Discrepancies in NICS and compile evidences for Corrective / Preventive actions.
  4. Perform FMEA and Control Plan for the operational processes.
  5. Consolidate the results of quality and environmental KPIs.
  6. Perform customized FAIs or PPAPs.
  7. Securing product quality in new products by proposing measures to control or improve the final products to meet established quality standards.
  8. Control of measuring devices (calibrations / verifications), including annual verification of measuring tapes.
  9. Document tests for RISE packaging in NICS.
  10. Analyze weekly the Product Discrepancies report (scrap, reworks, etc.) and present results to the operations team to improve the performance.

Nefab Packaging West is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in our Manufacturing site located in Newark, CA.

Working with the General Manager, and the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, and assists with the development and implementation of manufacturing processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

- Install, align, take apart, move and maintain machinery

- Use various lifting devices, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, gages and measurement instruments to complete work

- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions

- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls

- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts

- Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery

- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine scheduled maintenance work on machinery

- Implement a Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) system, including ISO documentation and a detailed PM schedule for each machine

- Use of predictive maintenance techniques and implementation of a computerized maintenance management system to trigger maintenance planning, execution and reporting

- Identify and implement projects to improve machine and operator performance

- Provide basic operations and maintenance training to production operator
