Materials Manager, Nefab South Central, Coppell

The Materials Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining inventory management processes at our Coppell facility. This role ensures the efficient and accurate flow of materials from inbound receiving to production and plays a key role in maintaining optimal stock levels and inventory accuracy. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Materials Manager works closely with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, and Planning to support customer requirements while minimizing inventory-related risks.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain physical storage for all on-site inventory.
  • Coordinate the preparation and movement of materials, hardware, and resell items from storage to production.
  • Keep inventory records accurate through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and implement inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability for production and customer demand.
  • Analyze inventory metrics, including accuracy, turns, aging inventory, stockouts, and excess inventory.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Production Planning, and Operations to optimize inventory levels and material flow.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to track inventory performance and trends.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce inventory costs and improve efficiency.
  • Train and develop inventory control personnel and production staff on inventory procedures.
  • Establish and monitor inventory KPIs and drive accountability for performance improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, supply chain, or materials management.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of cycle counting, physical inventory procedures, and inventory auditing
  • Ability to interpret inventory data and drive corrective actions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Continuous Improvement Engineer, Nefab Packaging Southeast

Supporting Manufacturing Sites with Lean Leadership, Training, Change Management & Continuous Improvement

The CI Engineer is responsible for driving lean transformation and continuous improvement across our manufacturing sites in our Southeast Region and the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. You will achieve these goals by facilitating VSMs, Kaizen events, and other improvement initiatives. As well as operative in a hands on capacity at the sites and on the manufacturing floor.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver lean leadership training to build local management capability in lean principles and methods.
  • Provide structured lean methodology training (5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, etc.) for all levels of site personnel.
  • Guide teams through change management processes to enable cultural and operational transformation.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Gemba walks to identify waste and drive process improvement.
  • Support and coach cross-functional teams in identifying, prioritizing, and executing continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure standardization and sustainability of improvements by sharing best practices and lean tools across regional sites.
  • Track, monitor, and report lean initiative results, ensuring transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.

Your Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing lean practices, preferably in manufacturing environments.
  • Proven success facilitating lean training, Kaizen workshops, and change management initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, TPM, etc.).
  • Demonstrated coaching and facilitation abilities, with experience engaging diverse teams and leadership levels.

Working with the Plant Manager, Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, and assists with the development and implementation of manufacturing processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be working with the Regional Supply Chain Director, the Estimator is responsible to develop and maintain manufacturing standards and provide timely and accurate quotes to the selling organization. This role integrates process engineering inputs (routing, labour standards, machine time, and layout concepts) into a robust costing methodology that supports both commercial decision-making and initial production planning.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Estimate Creation & Costing
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates using the ERP system, Excel and product builders.
  • Convert engineered drawings/designs into detailed BOMs for custom packaging solutions.
  • Calculate material, labor, machine/work center, equipment, and overhead costs to determine pricing.
  • Deliver estimates within tight timelines to support quotations, proposals, and project execution.

  • Use the ERP system to create, manage, and track estimates and costing.
  • Develop and maintain product builders for standardized components and faster estimating.
  • Update and improve the costing template to reflect all required cost elements.
  • BOM, Layout & Routing Development
  • Analyze drawings and prepare accurate BOMs with material specs, quantities, and process details.
  • Create labor estimates through routing, process by process, for costing and initial production planning.

Nefab Packaging West is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in our Manufacturing site located in Newark, CA.

Working with the General Manager, and the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, and assists with the development and implementation of manufacturing processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

- Install, align, take apart, move and maintain machinery

- Use various lifting devices, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, gages and measurement instruments to complete work

- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions

- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls

- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts

- Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery

- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine scheduled maintenance work on machinery

- Implement a Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) system, including ISO documentation and a detailed PM schedule for each machine

- Use of predictive maintenance techniques and implementation of a computerized maintenance management system to trigger maintenance planning, execution and reporting

- Identify and implement projects to improve machine and operator performance

- Provide basic operations and maintenance training to production operator

- Respond immediately to requests from operators and production supervisors

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION

- 2-year vocational training or associate’s degree in a related field of study

- Previous training on applicable machinery (CNC)
