Sourcing Manager, Nefab Canada

Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. We are now looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our team in Nefab Mississauga.

As Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the supply chain to support the sales organization while continuously evaluating and implementing the most cost-effective sourcing solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Follow Nefab sourcing procedure 
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships that ensure reliable sources of supply for manufactured items, resale/traded items, material, and services
• Obtain supplier quotes and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
• Negotiate contracts for manufactured items, resale/traded items, material, and services
• Source and purchase the appropriate products in the required quantities, ensuring they meet all design specifications and quality standards while securing the best value. Coordinate timely procurement and delivery to support production schedules and operational requirements
• Implement and manage blanket purchase orders for long lead time items 
• Evaluate existing suppliers, new suppliers, and alternative products and recommend changes as required
• Manage emergency stock out situations and expedite orders as required 
• Monitor trends which may affect pricing and supply and develop and implement action plans to manage risk
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Cost reduction targets to be achieved
• Involvement with Logistics and Servicing of customers 
• Support Business Development/Account Managers and Engineering on projects
• Project management of specified customer projects from samples to initial order 
• Frequent travel to suppliers and other Nefab facilities 
• Work with corporate sourcing and category managers on national- regional level suppliers and synergy, cost saving projects 
• Coordinate supplier audits 
• Other projects as assigned 

This position is located in Mississauga, and you will report to the Regional Managing Director.

Your profile 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Industrial Distribution, or equivalent experience
• Quality System policy, procedure and process experience, preferably within ISO framework
• 2-5 years of previous Sourcing or Purchasing experience  
• Previous Project Management experience considered an asset  
• Strong managerial and leadership abilities
• Ability to objectively evaluate situations and collaboratively determine the best course of action for the company
• Strong financial modelling skills and proficient in MS Excel, Power Point and other MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and time management skills 
• Teamwork, influencing, and negotiation skills 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public

Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000 per year.
