The position encompasses the strategic planning, coordination, and development of the account. This includes activities to ensure that the customer’s needs and expectations are exceeded, such as overall delivery planning, inventory management, pricing and costing of packaging solutions, and driving cost savings initiatives.
This function requires KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting in a timely fashion, and requires the team work with our own ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system as well as the customer’s systems to ensure we seamlessly execute on the planning, purchasing, inventory tracking, and delivery of the customer’s packaging materials.
The role is also responsible for proactively identifying new business opportunities within the account.
-Main point of contact to the customer locally with the support from the Global Key Account Manager
-Motivate your team to superior Customer satisfaction
-Maintain KPI reporting system to track performance and identify improvement opportunities
-Provide lead time estimates for quotes to customers
-Record NCR’s and manage the corrective action process
-Ensure an elevated level of internal and external customer service. Investigate and correct customer non-conforming issues and complaints relating to quality.
-Participate in Supply Chain planning and supplier audits.
-Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meetings
-Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
-Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
-Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
-Forecast and track key account metrics.
-Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
-Monitor and analyze customers’ usage of our product.
-Identify and manage cost savings initiatives to achieve the annual cost reduction targets set by the customer.
-Ensure data integrity in the Nefab ERP system.
-A degree or diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain, Packaging, Industrial Distribution or equivalent Project Management, Six Sigma certification preferred.
-Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
-3-5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain industries.
-At least 3 years of experience in Customer Services, Key Account Manager, Sales or Management roles.
-Packaging industry experience a plus.
-Experience of working in a planning function involving a large warehousing operation.
-Experience of working in a production environment ERP system.
-Understanding of principles of product costing.
-Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems and Procedures
-Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
-Chinese is a must.

Office working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work will require frequent local and international travel, overnight travel, and weekend and/or evening work.
The Key Account Manager role has cyclical stress due to frequent goals and deadlines and daily stress due to the responsibility associated with the incumbent's decisions, outcomes, and potential outcomes. The incumbent is faced with constant interruptions and frequently meets with others.
Plant working conditions include noise more than 90 dB and some dust. Personal Protection Equipment is provided.
