Our Engineering & Continuous Improvement organization is vital for us to enhance efficiency, quality, delivery, and cost performance solutions to our customers. We are now looking for a Lean Engineer to join our team in Nefab Packaging Netherlands.
As Lean Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Deliver lean leadership training to management teams.
- Provide coaching and training on lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, etc.)
- Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and Gemba walks.
- Drive continuous improvement projects across sites.
- Support change management initiatives.
- Standardize best practices across locations.
- Monitor KPIs and report improvement results.
- Coach local teams and stakeholders.
- Perform lean assessments .
- Explore and implement digital CI tools.
As a Lean Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will drive lean transformation across multiple manufacturing sites. You will play a key role in improving operational performance, developing lean leadership, and embedding a continuous improvement culture. You will work closely with site leadership and teams to enhance efficiency, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Experience with change management.
- Analytical and hands-on mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch (mandatory) and English.
- Willingness to travel between sites.
