Production Coordinator

Production Coordinator, Nefab RA Produtos de Embalagem, S.A.

Our operations organization is vital for us to deliver high-quality, efficient and sustainable packaging solutions to our customers. We are now looking for a Production Coordinator with a strong experience in managing production teams to join our team in Nefab RA Prod. de Embalagem, in Maia. 

As Production Coordinator you will be responsible for:

• Ensure the execution of the established production plan.
• Responsible for onboarding and training all production team members. 
• Ensure organization, discipline, and efficiency in production. 
• Lead and manage the production team at the operational level. 
• Ensure product quality control during the production process. 
• Ensure accurate production reporting in the ERP system. 
• Ensure the correct use of machines, equipment, and tools. 
• Ensure the organization of the production layout, optimizing the flow of materials and products. 
• Monitor and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance plans. 
• Identify and promote improvements in production processes. 
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and environmental rules.
•  Act as the main interface between Production, PPC, and the Operations Manager. 

You will be part of the Production team, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of the production plan and supporting Nefab’s commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. In the role, you will lead and coordinate the production team at an operational level, working closely with PPC, Operations Manager, Quality, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow, optimal use of resources, and timely delivery of products.

This position is located in Maia.

Your profile 

• Minimum 12th grade education.
• Proficient in English (reading and writing).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with supervisory or leadership responsibility.
• Strong technical understanding of production processes, machinery, and industrial operations.
• Strong leadership and production team management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
