QA/QC Supervisor

Report to: QMS Senior Manager

Job Summary

The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for overall quality assurance activities, supervising quality control processes, managing equipment calibration, and ensuring compliance with quality standards to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare FAI reports and coordinate sample submissions for customer approval.
• Issue and follow up on corrective actions for non-conforming raw materials.
• Define quality criteria and prepare inspection documents for raw materials and finished goods.
• Establish and maintain the quality system and relevant documentation.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
• Deliver quality system awareness training to QC inspectors.
• Develop and maintain quality standards in line with ISO requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment, 3 years of experience as supervisory level.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.
• Fair command of English (reading and writing); spoken English is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge and experience in using measuring and inspection equipment.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Effective problem-solving skills and leadership capability.
• Experience working with suppliers on quality-related issues.
• Proficient in basic computer software (e.g., MS Office).
• Strong motivation, responsibility, and attention to detail.
