Account Executive (Business Development)

Report to: Senior BD Manager / Managing Director

Job Summary

The Account Executive (Business Development) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction, handling project coordination, and identifying business opportunities to support long-term growth. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive service mindset.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain assigned customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and ongoing support.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (design engineering, quality, production, and warehouse and logistics) to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Monitor project milestones, delivery timelines, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase account value.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and customer documentation.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular account updates.
  • Ensure excellent customer communication aligned with company standards.
  • Assist in product launches and change management activities for existing customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in account management, customer service, or project coordination, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in packaging, automotive, electronics, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written); proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel occasionally.

  • Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
  • Able to coordinate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently.
  • Familiarity with reading technical documents or drawings is a plus.
