Your Responsibility:

  • Design packaging solutions while utilizing Nefab products and/or sourced materials
  • Assist with providing packaging technical expertise
  • Assess structural requirements, method of transport, long term storage and other specifications
  • Assist with packaging evaluations and designs of other engineers or designers
  • Assist with the gathering of sufficient information to enable drawings
  • Create CAD drawings, assembly instructions and material lists
  • Assist Sr. Engineers perform special engineering project assignments
  • Assist in understanding material specifications and possible replacement materials as needed

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • At lease one year experience working with CAD programs (Ironcad, Solidworks, Solid Edge or NX/Unigraphics),  either in school or at work
  • Experience designing with steel, wood, corrugate, foam and/or other traded materials is a plus
  • Project Management Certification is a plus
  • Good oral and written English
  • Customer oriented
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications
  • MS Office applications
  • Good communication skills
