JOB SUMMARY 

The Asia Industry Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding Nefab’s business with Industry Key Accounts across the region. This role involves close collaboration with bespoke customers, both locally and globally, and with Nefab’s global key account organization and local entities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and implement a global strategy paired with localized action plans for strategic and opportunistic projects and accounts.
  • Establish a tracking system to monitor progress at both regional and local business unit levels.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key decision-makers at corporate headquarters and principal factory locations for strategic accounts.
  • Lead a virtual team of account managers and sales representatives to drive profitable growth across all relevant business and market units.
  • Cultivate a broad network within strategic accounts to ensure regular communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee sales and profitability development for strategic accounts in Asia, collaborating closely with local business units.
  • Identify and develop new projects within these accounts in packaging and services, aligning with both global and local strategies.
  • Assist in creating and executing local action plans.
  • Act as the liaison between local and global organizations.
  • Provide proactive support to local Nefab teams.
  • Organize business reviews to assess performance and strategize improvements.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable business opportunities.
  • Perform additional work-related tasks within the framework of business development.
  • Provide regular updates on account and project status to regional and global management.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering or Business degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE 

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management and Key Account Management roles.

LANGUAGES

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

  • Proficient in analyzing and managing complex business situations.
  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities without extensive management oversight.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues, ideas, plans, and proposals to senior management and various organizational levels.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation using spreadsheets, Word, and other presentation software.
  • Excellent team-building and networking capabilities.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Strong self-determination and confidence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both locally and globally (approximately 60%).
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
