Senior Sourcing Manager: Responsible for ensuring that the company delivers high-quality and cost-efficient packaging solutions to customers based on their needs. Responsible for handling the company’s end-to-end sourcing operations, including all aspects of the sourcing operations, from research and qualification of suppliers to identifying cost savings, negotiating, and coming to a final agreement. Analyze the company’s spending, supply partnerships and evaluate new possibilities, leading to operations improvement, cost savings and total process efficiency. Develop and execute a regional sourcing strategy, which is aligned with Nefab Group’s strategy, and supports growth and profitability with long term objectives. Initiate projects aiming at total cost reductions and optimization programs. Implement KPIs’ at local and regional level for the evaluation of the sourcing performance and efficiency. Evaluate and plan sourcing activities in the local market based on customers, segment and market’s current and future needs and expectations. This includes forecast volumes, products, materials, and supplier’s portfolio. Suggest and initiate partnerships, including building relationships and negotiating, with key suppliers which can deliver added value to end customers. Perform cost, risk, and scenario analysis, including benchmarking and evaluating supplier’s portfolio and possibilities to deliver according to the customers current and future needs. Ensure a good understanding of cost structures for different materials. Give sourcing support by early involvement in customer projects and sales processes (including pro-active support to key account managers). Share supplier data, capacities, capabilities and other information to the global sourcing community and other stakeholders, such as sales and engineering teams. Communicate with the global sourcing community and stakeholders on market trends, price situation, raw material shortages and important market changes. Ensure Nefab’s supply chain is in compliance regarding corporate social responsibility, code of conduct and group values. Promote solutions which are environmentally friendly when possible. Ensure that goods fulfil legal requirements and specifications (e.g., banned and/or restricted substances). Adhere to policies, processes and routines which will secure the implementation and quality of the local and global sourcing strategy.

 

Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in Packaging Science, Supply Chain, Procurement, related field or foreign equivalent. 

 

Experience Requirements: Two (2) years of sourcing-related experience. 

 

Special Requirements: Position may be performed from anywhere in the United States. Position requires bi-monthly travel to Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia and bi-annual international travel.   

 

Work Location: Position may be performed from anywhere in the United States.

 

Hours: Full Time (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
