JOB SUMMARY  

This Business Development role, at least with 3 to 5 years proven experience specializing in Protective Packaging. This is hybrid role with 50% focus on global key account and 50% hunting for new business, identify the best business development strategies to penetrate the new market and growing existing core business. Take full responsibility to grow and manage all NEFAB businesses. Grow and focusing on Nefab’s Protective Packaging Business mainly focus on paper corrugated, foam, thermoforming plastics, and wooden crate.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for entire sales growth for the region and adhere to company direction in creating new business opportunity, new segment, new industry, new market and winning big projects.
  • Identify customer needs and drive new business opportunities in line with global business strategy, new portfolio with new solutions. (eg. fiber flute, light woods, green materials).
  • Growing the existing core business, partnering with global sales team to create a strategic plan to quickly develop and deliver sales.
  • Able to take broader view/bigger picture, deep thinking on critical matters with pre-emptive approach in attacking new account and new segment, with clear direction + business strategy + execution plan.
  • Able to bring in new clients and foster business relationships to increase sales revenue.
  • Able to work independently in developing the strategies and hands-on in implementation.
  • Able to drive business development strategies and fulfilling the activation projects.
  • Lead the ERP implementation for entire business development department.
  • Lead the ESG (Green project) implementation for entire business development department.
  • Lead the CRM pipe implementation for entire business development department.
  • Reduce the debtors aging for entire business development department.
  • Coach junior BD and learn Northern region potential new business (semiconductor, medical, key strategic contract manufacturer), help junior BD team members to be successful in delivering the new business and achieve more than they imagined.
  • Team player who thrives on deadlines-driven project and deliver under pressure.

QUALIFICATION  

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or engineering.

SKILLS & COMPETENCES

  • Possess strong ability in both hunting and selling skills.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and strategic mindset.
  • Possess strong ability in planning and organizational skills.
  • Possess strong communications and presentation skills.
  • Extensive background in protective packaging with paper corrugated, foam and wooden crate solutions.
  • Familiar with plastics thermoforming will be added advantage.
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret complex business-related documents.
  • Well-versed with proven ability with MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
  • Bi-Lingual capabilities desirable (English/Chinese/Other)
